Oh I like C70, but it doesn’t have HT Bypass input.
Compare to other models in the line up, where would C70 be?
Oh but carbon trim on the power amp ? Don’t think so. No.

Same here. No HT bypass input is a no go for me.

I like the look of the new amp. but the price is not competitive at 15 k for a stereo amp., I would be looking for mono amps. at that price point. They should have put meters on the amp., you can buy two MC275 and use as mono amps. for under 10 k. I do like the new acoustic research design, they are releasing a nice stereo amp . In a few months

Half of the price I paid for McIntosh was for the blue meters.

Only thing I not happy about is no loudness switch on the C70 like on the C22...

9 dots as an indicator for volume setting, then how to know when volume is at 4.3,4.4,4.5.. etc. ?

I “ordered” a C70 a few days ago. Not sure when I will ever see it....but I’m in line.

I’m going to keep my C22 and add another amp for a second system. The C70 looks beautiful. I love the new blacked out switches in front. However, I do wish it had a loudness switch like my C22.

It's different that's for sure. It just might grow on you.
