Do you have any advice to remove the earplug tips from the shure earphones? I can't seem to remove them without feeling like I'll destroy the foam.
I ended up returning the Shure set over the left ear intermittent sound, but I liked them enough to try ordering again later and hope for better luck.

On my SE535 they just slide off. You may have to pull and twist a bit. I've replaced the foam tips with the triple-flange, better isolation and more comfortable for my ears, also easier to insert.

I bought the Green Campfire Andromeda's at the Rocky Mountain Audio show. I heard them in person. It took me two sit down listening trials to settle on it, though I'd hardly call it settling. They through in a lightning cable for me to use with their earphones. It sounded great at the show, but the one they gave me never worked. Beautiful cables though. Campfire was pretty friendly about trying to take care of getting my cable replaced. I mailed mine early this week.

I rebought Shure earphones and they don't short, but the foam squishes closed in my ear so I need to use the silicone. These are the most comfortable earphones I own and they sound great. The newer Shure's are much easier to replace the tips.

If the Shure's don't pan out: Westone W30 fly under the radar, super comfortable and a fun headphone. Just a tad bit V shaped. I've tried many other more expensive IEMS and I just keep coming back to them.
