Default Stereophile Renewal
If anyone else is getting the mailed renewal notices from Stereophile for 2yr for $39.97, go online to their website and renew and save $10. Have breakfast on them.

Somehow, Stereophile put me on "auto-renewal" and tried to charge me that price. I don't care for auto-renewals on anything so I cancelled, even though I've subscribed for decades. I haven't gotten around to re-subscribing. I'm sympathetic to the challenges publishers face today, but this isn't a good plan for retaining subscribers.

Same thing here, I called and told them to remove the auto-renew. Normally I signup for magazines with a single use credit card number, shame on me for trusting them with my normal CC. I think this will be my last year for any print audio magazine. I can wait the extra 30 days or so for them to post the reviews online.

I've never gotten to the point that I like to read magazines on-line. Don't mind books on the Kindle/iPad, but magazines never seem to do it right. Too big a hassle. Plus, who wants to drag their device into the bathroom with them?

PLEASE be careful!!!! You renew for the period stated then 9 months later the letter(s) comes again. I/you forget and renew again, It will never end. Make a note somewhere that you renewed or you will then have 6 or 9 years more,
