I'm just about to order longer A23 cables. That's about all my budget can handle.
At least it's $2,000 per meter/pair! But I agree.

I wasn't really expecting much of an upgrade--the A23 cables had bested everything else I had tried--but boy was I surprised! Very much the equivalent of a component upgrade.

Just wanted to relay this to the other Shindo lovers out there. Don't forget the speaker cables if you're after the ultimate Shindo Synergy!! Not cheap, but to my ears worth every penny.
I started a review a while ago but got lazy. I'll post what I've got together now. It pretty much comes together as "yeah, what he said".

I burned them in for 600 hours with a small cheap solid state amp 24/7 first. I them installed in my system and it was immediately clear that there was no going back. The sound was much much clearer with far more nuanced details than I had ever heard before in music I've had forever. They also have a larger sound stage, especially in width and are more extended, so much so in the bass that I had to back off the subwoofers in my Rethm Maargas just a bit. But at this point I did not hear them as being warmer than the A23's as per Jack Roberts review but they certainly were not cold or analytical. So I decided to put at least another 200 to 300 hours on them in my system before coming to a conclusion on this attribute. ...Now at well over 1000 hours in they have become warmer with the tubes up as Roberts stated and they just sound more beautiful. A corny comparison: the A23's give you a beautiful portrait of a nebula in space. The SS gives you a view through the Hubble telescope. It seems your focal point stays clear as far as you can peer into it. A speaker that has good transparency really brings this out. The A23s tonal balance is the same, sound stage height and degree of warmth is about the same to me. In sound stage width the Silvers get the edge but they are hands down better by far in clarity, crispness and depth.
