My TV hasn't been on since I got it hooked up, and prolly won’t be for a good while.
Yep, it's pretty amazing isn't it?

And...don't forget to try out the sophisticated ground-plane noise reduction system on your Everest.

how do people (you puma!) hook up components to the ground plane of the everest? you just get some 14ga stranded wire from home depot and call it good?

You can do that, but my recommendation would be to use Shunyata CGC ground cables, as the quality of the cable, gauge, and materials used really matters. If it's in your budget, I'd start with the Delta CGC, as they provide great performance for the money. You can specify the termination (e.g. spade) you need as well.

Sorry for the late reply; I've been really busy of late finishing up the Lampizator Baltic 3 DAC review for TAS.

I’m sure Puma’s recommendation to use a Shunyata ground cable is spot on. I just wanted to caution about some of the stranded wire that’s available at hardware stores. Much of it is copper clad aluminum (CCA). Definitely not something you’d want to use.

A few months ago I purchased a few rolls of stranded wire for use in my home theater system from Amazon. That’s when I discovered the prevalence of CCA. I opted for OFC instead (this). Really nice to work with and good enough, I think, for my Atmos speakers. I actually used a bit of this as a ground cable between the ground connector on my Denali v1 and my EtherRegen in my big rig. Might the Shunyata be better? Sure, but I’ll sweat that another day.

I would recommend the Sigma CGC at your level of equipment. It has the V2 VTX-Ag conductor with a silver core, The Delta and Alpha do not! And the difference is real! As you all know from the V2 power cables.

The Shunyata power distributors work for large screen TVs too and do wonders in a home theater system; at least ours. The Everest is used in my stereo while my Triton V3 and Typhon V2 improve our separate HT system with regards to both picture and sound. In our HT system, the picture with the Shunyata is more saturated with better contrast and inky blacks. Furthermore the sound is more natural and dynamic.

Remarkable to me how well my LG OLED responds to a better power cord feeding the power strip into which its captive cord is plugged.

I use a Synergistic PowerBlock in my AV system, which is pretty much just a power strip. This came with a Synergistic Red power cord - which is a $300 power cord. An Alpha HC freed up from my two-channel system so I tossed it in just for kicks. I definitely heard and saw an improvement - but it wasn't until I later pulled it that I saw how profoundly it was benefitting the picture and sound. Swapping back in the Synergistic Red was hugely disappointing - to the point where I wondered if I had been wearing an older set of eyeglasses. I had wanted to recoup some dollars from selling the Alpha HC, but no way was I going to go back to settle for that Red cable. Next up I tried a Shunyata Venom V12 NR. The picture and sound both improved but it did not get back to the level of quality I heard with the Alpha HC - so the Alpha HC is still down there.

No doubt a Shunyata power distributer would serve me well down in that system. I'm eager to see what will be coming to replace the PS8, which is no longer listed on their website.

For the ground plane on the TRITON v3 in my setup, I'll join Puma with an unqualified recommendation for Shunyata CGS/SGS cables, specifically Delta and Alpha. They perform exceptionally well. I have not the higher level CGS but frankly the Delta and Alpha work so well, if that's your budget, then you are in excellent shape.

Zipwire, straightwire, etc.....for ground: definite NO on that. I learned that lesson 14+ years ago with my first star grounding solution (Granite Audio) and quickly moved up to their ground cables. Shunyata's overall solution was a BIG step up.
