Jazzman53's System
My system is modest but much of it was hand built by me so I'm proud of it.
The mains are DIY symmetrically segmented wire-stator ESLs that electronically bend the wavefront to tailor the dispersion. The Ripol subs are also DIY, and their cardioid radiation pattern blends seamlessly with the dipolar ESLs. I have an extensive website dedicated to building ESL's. I can't link to it here but it's easy to find by Googling "Jazzman's ESL Page" My 6-channel/stereo system: Source: Logitech Transporter streaming Tidal Preamp: Logitech Transporter (digital) Processor: DBX Driverack Venu 360 Amplifiers: Carver TFM-25's (3) Speakers: DIY hybrid wire-stator ESL's Subs: DIY Ridtahler dipoles (RiPol's) Rack: DIY red oak Cables: 12-2 Blue Jeans (not real picky about cables) The Jazzman MkIII ESL: Components in homebuilt red oak rack: Hand-built Ripol Subs: ESL Amp/Panel Interface (HV bias supply & tandem step-up transformers): Wire stator in the build jig: Last edited by Jazzman53; 09-17-2023 at 12:39 PM. |
