Depending on one's commute and one's vehicle, that's a substantial cost savings over the course of a year that could be reallocated to fun things.

Just took delivery today, straight out of the box this is a game changer. Detail retrival is mind boggling, increase in frequency extention on both ends and SPEED. Honesty I didn't expect this much of an improvement. I'm using it with a Lyra Titan i however I going to mount my Atlas as soon as I have a chance.

I am now in the market for a new phono stage. As a Reference 10 user, I prefer ARC phono. Ref Phono 10 is an obvious choice but the Ref Phono 3 seems a serious alternative. I wonder how much difference is there between Phono 10 and Phono 3?

I believe 16k, 30 vs 14, same as Ref 10 vs Ref 6

I just received my Ref 2 SE phono last week.......it's an amazing piece of gear, it boggles the mind that they could improve so much on a piece like that! How much more can you get out of those grooves?

Don't ask questions you really don't want answers to.

When I auditioned both the Ref 2 SE and Lyra Atlas cartridge, I expected differences to be small and narrow in scope.

Instead both were "night and day" improvements that where nowhere near subtle.

I've found it best to never audition equipment I'm not prepared to upgrade to at some point.
