I run the Cadenza Bronze and find it to be an exceptional performer, competing well above its price range. When properly aligned it is amazingly silent in the groove with just a touch of warmth when compared to the Black. The choice between the Bronze and Black comes down to your preference in the way you'd like to take your system's balance. If you'd like a bit of warmth the Bronze does the trick, while the Black is more neutral and slightly more revealing but edges towards the analytical side. I know several others who have gone with the Bronze and all are thrilled with the results.

I like the warm side, so looks like the Bronze is for me!!

Many thanks for your mini review :-)

Audio-Technica AT-OC7 (big improvement of the F5, still light weight in the bass for my tastes, not strident like its little brother- but no sparkle in the highs either)
Blue Point Special (big step down from the AT-OC7 at all levels- a mistake- didn't like this cartridge at all)
Koetsu Black Signature (lush, big soundstage, bloom, delicacy - loved it & used it for 15 years until the diamond tip 'fell-off')
Lyra Argoi (Current cartridge, not as lush as the Koetsu, but tighter more rhythmic bass, clean & clear treble- plenty of detail but not fatiguing- great cartridge)

Reading the reviews & comments on the Ortofon Cadenza range, I think I would go for the Black as my next cartridge.

Has anybody listened to the Cadenza Bronze, 1 up from Blue, 1 down from Black?

I have actually been looking at this one for my MT 5...................The Ortofon MC Windfeld.

The Sumiko Blue Point No.2 is fully broken in now. It has opened up and is more revealing then before and I find the treble has settled down as well ........

Picked up the MusicHall WCS-2 Vinyl Cleaner today. I picked the MusicHall partly due to the fact it has a very solid feel compared to some of the competition that uses particle board or cork in the construction. The Musichall uses a heavy aluminum chassis.
Did a few test runs using a old Disney Vinyl that was very dirty and played it. The majority of pops/clicks were all but gone
Also cleaned my Pink Floyd Blue Original The Division Bell and once again it did eliminate the few pops that were there . Gonna clean my collection

If you have a "Dirty Groove" or your looking for a Vinyl Vacuum under $650 I cant see the MusicHall being a disappointment.

.....and yes its loud .....get over it lol

Michael you have a great looking system. It looks well planned and implemented. I really like that new TT of yours.

I agree that having clean vinyl is a required part of the system. I purchased a VPI cyclone and have been very happy with the results it gives.
