I need nothing more as far as Music is cincerned: no fancy TT neither fancy cart and that's good for me because I precisely decided not to add anything to my system now. Rather the opposite.
I'm waiting for a tryout at home of the Rega Osiris integrated amplifier and if I like it better than my Mc combo or my Mc / Manley amps, all the "yankees" will leave my home to let place for the little "Brit" . My Rega P9 and the REF PHONO 2 may be the only survivors of the british attack in my room .
Jerome...even the MC-2301 will go?

Koestu are not a good match with the Satisfy arm.....Koestu are low compliance and they need a higher mass arm.....same issue as the 103.

I like the Benz wood bodies on tables with acrylic platters....acrylic platters have a quickness and detailed sound that can be much at times IMO and am happy to see Clearaudio getting away from them. The new Delrin platters to me are more nuetral and smooth not hyped like acrylic can be at times......the Gullwing is one of my favorites but not on acrylic platters.

Hello Jérôme,

1- Yes , I love to go to concerts...and yesterday night I was in Bercy (a pretty bad big hall for concerts from an acoustic point of view, to my ears) for Jean-Louis AUBERT (who here knows him!!!!), and tomorrow night I'll be in the same place for PMC (not your speakers...Paul McCartney himself).

2-I know you were kidding saying I was deaf BUT we pumped up the volume BECAUSE there was no "sound", and especially no bass...And we had this VERY STRANGE acoustical feedback which made your boomers become CRAZY. I am sure of the mismatch story arm/cart and I add you were on 1000 ohms, that I never used when I had a 103 on my old LP12 -I had between 25 and 100 ohms)

I don't listen at high volumes, you're wrong, most of the time the Vu meters are under the 1.2 Watts ; but at this level, I have more power than the MC301's hitting the 30 Watts last saturday!!!!

And I have to say I never listen to metal or hard rock, 70% jazz , 20 % blues/rock/pop/folk/country music, and 10% for classical.

3-I am convinced you should put dollars on acoustic treatment.
I can hear you about RP1, and I know there was a wind of resales of MEN 220 on this forum, but I stay on my position when I say it was better with RP1 in YOUR ROOM than without, not only for the bass, but for every aspect of the music (didn't you admit, yourself, highs were too harsch and agressive?).

4-Did you mount the Talisman again? Did it change?Did you exchange the place of the 2 TTs?

Hello Jeff,

I am very pleased with my Symphony Clearaudio cart; to me, it seems to be a perfect match.

But I would love to know which other carts you would recommand? I have the same TT then Jérôme.
