So JBags, did you end up with SSís under the amps as well? Assume you went with the threads as well??

Be great to hear if you have noticed a discernible difference as Iím thinking about the same with my 1.2Kw Macs

Jamie... here is Dan’s review on his Mac amps:

http://www.audioaficionado.org/showthread.php?t=39287

There is a very discernible difference when using these on MC601’s and MC1.2KW’s also.

Hi Levitator,

So I want to be completely honest with you and tell you that I have not heard the 611ís without the SSís. I purchased the amps and immediately swapped out the stock feet for the Stillpoints SSís before even putting it in my rack. With that said I powered everything up today for the first time and without any break in everything sounds pretty amazing. Ivan posted Danís review above which I found very informative and helpful.

Thanks gents - it looks like there is compelling evidence to instal on the amps although my next challenge, outside of lifting the suckers to put the feet on, is to see if they will fit in my rack given it will lift the height of the amps slightly and Iíve got minimal space at the moment...

In terms of fitting in the rack...I found out the hard way. I put the feet on my P20 and then when I went to put it back in my rack it wouldnít fit. So I had to buy another post to make that shelf higher. This hobby is truly never ending haha

Know what you mean - Iíve already gone to maximum column height after moving out my 452 amp to make way for the 1.2KW beasts!
