Right. Sorry, I think you mentioned that before. My hunch is you're going to be so happy you'll lose track of your desire to upgrade to the field coil full size Latours. At least that's how I feel (mine are field coil Petite Latours) but I have to admit I'm curious what more the big boys bring to the table. Curious is not the same as craving...

There is something absolutely effortless about a high efficiency speaker when it comes to making the music 'alive.' I haven't heard the big field coil but it is on my list, even though I have been wedded to horns for the past 6 plus years. As to wife factor, the finish on those things appears to be gorgeous, and they are very retro in a low key way. I'm sure when she hears music from them, there will be no issue whatsoever, other than 'gee dear, isn't there a bigger, more expensive one?'
