I wonder in percentages the allocation of aluminum and steel in say an amp or preamp? 75/80%?

I have already started buying more Bryston gear for myself before the new pricing goes into effect.

This is a huge challenge for manufacturers whose global supply chains are being impacted in unforeseen ways. My hat’s off to you as you negotiate these choppy waters.

Hey James.......manufacturing costs go up all the time.......and Bryston has raised their pricing accordingly throughout the years.........and that's nothing new to any manufacturer.
How or why your raising prices is a business decision, but your post is certainly controversial.

I’m not sure why it‘s controversial. I ran an industrial manufacturing company for many years before I retired, and we always communicated to our customers the reasons for our price increases, whether due to material costs, customs duties, labor rates, etc. It was part of our value system that we try to be open and transparent with our customers. I appreciate this from Bryston, it’s a reflection of their integrity and not common enough these days.

I feel the opposite, and don't appreciate the choice of words he used for Brystons price increase reasoning in this forum. It creates much untruths without knowing all the actual facts.
