Thanks. Great pics.

I am not just saying this because I own them, but EVERYTIME I see a pic of the Guarneri (either the Homage of the Memento, natural varnish or graphite) my heart skips a beat - so to speak. I still think they are the most beautiful speaker ever made - monitor or otherwise and I am still in "love" with them.

For me it's like looking at a "perfect" sculpture (i.e. Michelangelo's David). The shape, proportions, combination of materials, etc., are all a perfect match for each other.

It doesn't hurt that their sound matches their looks.

Thanks again for the pics. Some of us can't get enough.

Alberto

I cant get enough!

Question: 99% of the Guarneri speakers I have seen are tilted back on their stone base, and are not adjustable, but I saw a pic today of a pair that are straight up and down, no tilt.

I am not 100% sure, but I believe all original Homages are straight and all Memento are at an angle. I have a very slight preference for the upright version.

That is correct. When the original Guarneri Homage came out, many users reported to have even better performance when they tilt the speakers a bit. SF took their advice and made the Guarneri Memento tilted at an angle.

I think the tilt was used for better time/phase alignment and integration of tweeter/mid drivers.

It might be true. Italian influences and inspiration. A little Stradivarius, a little Tower of Pisa.........viola.......Sonus Faber.
