Having found no chronological information about Shindo gears over time, I suggest you start by trying to classify the preamplifiers, year of release, tubes etc. If someone could open a specific topic, could do the same for amps, speakers etc.... This is my first post here...and I don't have a single Shindo component! So what am I doing here??
Well...I'm running a pair of Verity Parsifal speakers that I love (hardly your usual Shindo-matched speakers) and am in the process of auditioning my first tube separates, having been happily living with an Ayre integrated amp for a while. Given that my speakers aren't an easy enough load for a Montille (or other low watt amps), but given that they're not a super-hard load either, my plan for the moment is to go with either an Aurieges or Monbrison, with a VTL ST150 or pair of MB125's as the power amp. This would be my leap into high-end (at least to me!) tube pre& setup to bring out the harmonic complexity that my speakers are capable of, without losing on the dynamics & bass control needed to keep them happy in the 20 cycle range.
