Default What is the upgrade path for DCS Delius & Purcell?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me what the upgrade path is for DCS Delius & Purcell? I currently own the Delius & Purcell and am happy with them currently. However, when reviewing their website, it seems a little unclear as to what the upgrade path is. Pls help.

Hello guys,

anyone here listen the combination: Playback Designs MPS-5 + darTZeel CTH-8550 + Evolution Acoustics MMMicroOne?

What did you think of this combination?

Best regards,

Hi Ricardo,

Welcome!

I have the Dartzeel NHB-108 amp and I think it is superb. I know some members heard that combo at one of the shows and they liked what they heard. All the reports were stellar. What do you have now?

Joe

Hello joeinid,

thanks for the reception. I just bought in this last week a CTH-8550, and I'll get in the next month at France.

My last systema was composed of: B&W 802N, Krell KAV-2250, pre-amplifier Audiopax Model 7SE and Audio Aero Prima. I sold all the equipments of this system and I'm riding it all over again.

I have at the moment: speaker cable Siltech G7 25th Classic Annyversary 770L, power cables Kubala Emotion and Purist Canorus, the CTH-8550 I just bought, and hopefully buy an Evolution Acoustics. As for the player, I'm in doubt between the dCS Puccini + U-clock and Playback MPS-5.

I'm also in doubt between the EA MMMicro One and MMMicro Two. Have you heard any of the two?

Best regards,
Ricardo Nonato.

Hi Ricardo,

Unfortunately I have not heard them but they are supposed to work well with the Dart gear. I would say to get the best speaker you can give the proper room to breathe. I have nothing but GREAT reports about the EA speakers. I hope others will join the conversation. We are glad you are here and you have great taste in gear

Joe
