Default Power Plant Premier In The House

I received my PS Audio PPP from Ivan nearly two months ago. I've had plenty of time to let the unit break in now and I just wanted to pass along my thanks to Ivan and some thoughts I had on the unit itself.

First of all, a huge thanks to Ivan, for the excellent service and support. It's a pleasure to work with you Ivan.

When I first plugged my system into the PPP I noticed a significant improvement in the sound. After listening for the last couple months (with some comparison to the surge protector I was using before), I can safely say that from bottom to top, the sound is more clear and has better definition with the PPP. Imaging is better and I hear more space around instruments and voices. The improvement was dramatic enough that my wife (who wasn't convinced the PPP would make a difference) reluctantly admitted that it made a significant improvement. I was also surprised at the weight of the unit, coming in at 35lbs. Built like a solid brick, it's the heaviest electrical component in my system (2nd overall only to my sub). At some point when I'm out of town (otherwise I couldn't listen to my system without the PPP) this unit will find it's way over to Travis's house for an extended demo/comparison to his Transparent power conditioner (I'm not implying that the PPP is better than the Transparent).

I haven't played with the CleanWave or MultiWave features yet. I understand that the P5 and P10 also support MultiWave. Has anyone played with these features on the P5, P10, or PPP? I can't imagine that PS Audio would sell anything that might cause additional stress on the power supplies in components, but in the back of my mind I can't help wondering if MultiWave could have adverse effects on certain components.

I have a P10 and have screwed around a little bit with the MultiWave stuff. I have a McIntosh C50, McIntosh MC-452, and JL Audio F-113 hooked up to it running Wilson Duetts via the USB DAC on the C50. I noticed improvements in detail and bass the higher I went on the MultiWave. General consensus is this is the result in the short term, but as break-in occurs on the P10, the gains go away and its the same with or without it. I havent tried turning mine off yet to see if this is the case but I have run the P10 for a couple months now so its something I could probably try now.
