Free Roon for a year
I received an email this morning from PS Audio. They are offering a year of Roon for free with the purchase of a DirectStream DAC, DirectStream Junior or Bridge II. If you've already own a DirectStream DAC, PS Audio will give you a free year of Roon with the purchase of a Bridge II Network Audio Card.

David.......I have not tried Roon. I am using JRiver Media Center 21 on my laptop in conjuction with JRiver Remote on my iPad. I stream music via Deezer Elite at CD quality through the Sonos Connect and the Sonos CR200 wireless remote. Both works seamlessly. I don't find I have any interest in Roon.

In my experience Roon works great in conjunction with HQPlayer. Roon's user-friendly interface replaces HQPlayer's clunky user interface, but the excellent-sounding HQPlayer drives your DAC.

Roon is outstanding. I use it on a PC with a USB connection to my Oppo as DAC. The suggestions are terrific and the album cover metadata on my collection is simply sensational. Seamlessly shift between my FLAC collection and Tidal and easily mix the two in playlists. It also shows the resolution and signal path of the streaming file. The sound from the PC via USB is excellent, running natively on a fabulous PS DAC has got to be sensational.
Highly recommended.

Will have to look into this as I bought my DS Junior just recently. Don't really know but maybe I could be one of the benefitiaries.
