Default Power cable for P10?

Correct me if I am wrong but, because the P10 completely regenerates and isolates the AC power it produces from the incoming residential power, there would be no real benefit from replacing the stock OEM supplied power cable with an audiophile or otherwise esoteric replacement?

Your thoughts and rationale one way or the other would be much appreciated.

I went back and read jdandy's review of the Furutech Flux 50 filter on his PS power conditioner and he noted an improvement with the filter and better power cables. I am getting a P10 soon and I was also wondering about using a flux 50 there and about using a better power cable. You might want to look up that review thread started him a few years ago to see if that helps you

Much is to be gained with a a Flux-50 filter, and upgraded PC.

My rational is based on absolutely no physical evidence whatsoever. No science, period.

If the P10 (which I own, along with two P5's as well) has such a big and important task as to produce "perfect" power for your components, and considering these power generator cost a pretty penny, AND I would imagine the P10 has its OWN needs, why not try to improve the juice feeding it from your wall outlet as well. That way you are attempting to maximize the entire chain...

I never considered otherwise, so I cannot tell you if there is an audible difference or not. Sometimes, I just do what makes sense to me😬

I upgraded the cables to the wall and there was a definite SQ improvement - well worth the $$ for me. I was a doubter, but it happened for sure.

Upgrading the power cable attached to the P10 produces definite changes to the sound, as does changing the fuse.
Dynamics, depth and weight of the bass, and focus of the highs, were all areas that improved with power cord/fuse changes when I had my P10.
It's worth experimenting with!

We're in the minority here which is okay for sure. I know I'd drive myself nuts and broke trying to hear the differences that are purported by some of the tweaks that are out there.

But because I have large gauge residential wiring from the breaker to the wall plate, I'll probably just build out a 10 AWG power cable using some of the low end Wattgate connectors I have on hand if the OEM cable provided is not 10 AWG. I like the idea of the lowest possible resistance and I like to see physically big, hawser-sized cables .
