I would consider the strads at masterlu's pricebc I see them as a long term purchase and may upgrade the amps later. However wanting strads and do they fit in my room are to different things. If my room size best fits Elipsa SE's, I'd still be very happy. As for the Lilium, haha, let's just say i already have an Italian in the garage milking that extra cash flow.
If you can get the strads, get them. Those are speakers for a life time. If a room can fit the Elipsa, it can fit the strads with no issues.

I'd be interested to see how the Lilium would compare but I prefer the old SF sound over the new one.

The strads are awesome. I regret selling mine every now and then. They are much easier to place than Amatis. My guess is that Liliums would not be as easy either but the sound is likely very different so not sure if they comparsble.

Only because I have them demoing at home but you might wish to try the Ktemas. Very easy to place. Great for medium sized rooms and they have that Franco Serblin signature whilst being a little more resolving and airy than the strads.

I am using an all Cary set up for pre and power. 05 pre and then 211 FE power.

I'm treating the walls and hanging a cloud in my room. Should be sufficient. Right?
Thanks. No..

Had the original Cary 211 back in early '90s driving Tannoy WR.. Great amp!
A buddy currently owns 211 FE, and running from memory, they seem much improved/refined sounding now, will be a nice fit partnering Strads.
Post a picture when you are set, would love to see pics of your beautiful set-up/room.
