From the Maxx 3 manual; XLF is similar. Always have someone at the back of the speaker to steady it.

Placed an order, received it today and used it to raise my rack and do some work.

Thank you very much Mr. Big, this item has saved my back.

Best tool ever for heavy lifting racks, speakers, etc.

It is no problem using the jack and changing spikes etc with one person.

I do it all the time with my Maxx3's. The speakers are still stable when jacked up.

This jack also worked well when spiking Sound anchor stands with JL Audio F113 subwoofers!

Default Wilson Jack

Just purchased the Lo-Pro billet jack on eBay which is virtually identical to the one from Wilson Audio. In comparison to the one from WA, it has a smaller lifting surface but should work fine. The Wilson jack has a 3"x 3" metal jacking surface which may provide a more stable surface. It also comes with a 7/16" racheting wrench. For 3.5 times the price, it should offer more. I plan to use it to spike my Sashas.

FYI, the Wilson jack is made for us in the US to Wilson spec. We chose to do that after buying production units made overseas for a number of years.

The one you purchased should be just fine for Sasha. In fact, the smaller platform should work better than the platform on the Wilson jack, which was designed for Wilson's larger speakers.

Thanks for that information. I look forward to finally putting spikes on the Sashas. In the past when I had the Watt/Puppies 5.1, it made a noticeable difference in low end response depending on how many spacers were used. With the jack I can make height adjustments more easily.
