Took what WAS a pretty good series and turned it into crap. What I really have a problem with is Walt going off treasure hunting. Simply does not seems likely. Last, but not least, is the idea that Cady (read bubble-head) would or could be Sheriff? She couldn't find a clue in a room full of clues! OK, I'm done

I don't really watch much in the way of television, but Longmire was a show that caught my eye and I stuck with it. The Walt/Vic thing didn't sit well with me, but anything negative from my perspective are nitpicky when you consider the overall series. Overall, the entire series was enjoyable to me. The wrapped most everything up at the end (except I too felt like Jacob's story kinda fell off the map), but I still walked away satisfied.

Walt Longmire series was based off the popular 11 book series by Craig Johnson..
all who have commented on the television series, havent asked the #1 question after its completion.. Who was behind killing Walt's wife ??

I watched it on the recommendation of this thread. Very good until the last season, when they tried to wrap everything up too neatly.

I was glad to see Walt finally get Vic in the rack.

Lol! Quite a scene after 6 seasons of innuendo.

late to the thread(just finished the series last week) but I agree with most comments here. Regardless I enjoyed looking at Vic's butt throughout the entire series !

I was hoping things would be left more open ended which would have enticed a follow up movie or two, ie. Jessie Stone

As I stated previously we both enjoyed this series and it characters.

Did anyone else notice how close Episode 6 in Season 4 "The Calling Back" paralleled the movie "Wind River"? This was the episode where a girl was murdered by some Oil workers. That was a very good movie.
