Honestly though, there are lots of fine posters here besides me. Audio Aficionado has become an audio encyclopedia, a true reference forum for audio enthusiasts.

About Memento vs Evolution.
Both can play really well and I mean really well. I'v got Memento in my system at work and I don't miss so much actually. Evolution has a bit more resolution and soonds lika a bigger speaker. I think it's the better of the two.

To use a sub??? For sure there will be more an deeper bas, but better. It's very heard to incorporate a sub so that it's character and everything suits the other speaker. Not impossible but very hard.

Yup. I heard from a very good source that the Evolution Replacement will be out in late January. Probably great deals to be had on the remaining Evolution stock. Any comments on personal experience with the Evolution sound versus the GM's?

I'm excited about the new Guarneri. Wonder what it'll be called. Perhaps it'll be based on the new Extrema? Hopefully no chrome like the old GE. Leather or wood would be best.

Very interesting. Does anybody know any specifics, links maybe? Will only Guarneri Evo be replaced or the whole homage line?
Thank you.

I suspect that some on this forum know more than they will tell...

All I know is what I wrote before: there's a sale on the Amati Futura, stating that it's due to an upgrade of the Homage line. I'm assuming that means at least new Amati and Guarneri.

Maybe it's an update with trickle-down improvements from Lilium and Il Cremonese?

Btw, what's considered the Homage line now: Guarneri Evo, Amati Futura, Stradivari, Homage Vox, Il Cremonese?
