Another excellent review, Jim, thank you!

I'm not surprised by your impressions and findings. My Denali 6000S/V2 and the new Shunyata NR-power and Ether/USB digital cables has brought the most significant and...musically enjoyable improvement to my system in a full decade.

Just some suggestions for your consideration:

1) Replace the PS Audio Power Port AC wall duplex with a Shunyata SR-Z1 duplex.

2) Replace the (wall-wart) SMPS that powers your hard-drive with a clean linear power supply (with correct current/voltage specification) from Jameco Electronics (http://bit.ly/2FjN7vX") for about 11 bucks or so. The linear power supply will eliminate the SMPS from producing low- and high-impedance leakage currents from your digital front end, which are insidious. These leakage currents cause increased jitter and most importantly, increased clock phase noise.

Cheers and looking forward to more of your impressions.

Thanks, Stephen. Yeah, a new outlet is on my what's-next radar. Same with the linear-mode PS for the drive. Thanks for the link. Probably won't move on the former 'til I get a hip replaced in early February and can flex sufficently to replace the outlet.

Agreed on the magnitude of improvement gained by dealing with the power feed. Given my experience over the last couple of years, I'm fully in sync with what I call the "Samuelsen Triad" of power, room treatment, and isolation. It's certainly worked here.
