What is the efficiency of your Kharma's. My KT150 does a reasonable job of driving my 8ohm, 87db sensitive AR2ax'. I haven't yet compared with it driving more efficient speakers. That will come soon enough.

I guess my posts are still in moderation for about 24 hours now.

Anyway I have tried some different 6v6 tubes and they sound good. Hard to get a flow of conversation going this way

Per the specs in the various reviews the Kharmas have a Sensitivity of 89 dB (1W/1m), but the manual states 86 db. Impedance is 8 ohms

Perhaps I should try these now
What are the Zeniths?
You are gonna have to get more efficient speakers to enjoy all this!

The Zenith are 6v6G. I think they are from the 1930's and I am not sure who actually made them. I am guessing RCA because the 6v6g is in a stop sign shape on the side.

Pretty similar to the AR's. I think our amp does ok with these specs if not too loud or the room too big. Though my room is ~26 x 25 x 9, so this combo would be even better suited in a smaller room.

Any listening impressions on the different 6FM7's?

Thanks for reminding me Aercool. I had a slight detour with some static coming out of the right tube socket (6FM7). Dennis received it today and I just received an email from him relating that all is now well and he gave me a tracking number. No doubt the best warranty service I've ever received! It was only a pin receptacle in one socket that wasn't making good contact.

So, no chance to do some comparison of the the 6FM7 brands yet. I will though, and post my impressions. Likely the weekend after I receive the LP-2 back from Dennis. I should be getting my custom Omegas by then also. So how the LP-2 and KT150 perform with these high efficiency, full range single drivers will also be in the mix. I am really looking forward to that!
