Nice but took a bit to break them in. Truthfully I was ready to swap out for the stock JJ’s and a few day later they finally came to life.

Did you get better lowend bass? What is the biggest difference?

Not really much more bass. But I’d say it brought back a bit of the old McIntosh sound it thats what you like. As I mentioned very dark when I first rolled them but opened up and a bit mellower.
Big test is when I get new speakers. Just sold my Kef Ref 3’s today and although every one says they are on the warm side of neutral the Titanium Uniq driver did not like anything but good recordings.So I’ll test the GL’s vs the JJ’s when I figure out what I’m getting next

I replaced my input output tube with golden lion on my Mac 2600
I noticed that the Input tube is not bright as the output tube the the phono stage
I can’t barely see the glow
