Hi John... So what you are saying is use the Stillpoints as feet replacements? With maybe extra under transports, transformers etc.? I have avoided placing them in same place as feet, but have not tried screwing them in with adaptors in place of the feet.

The only negative for me on that table is that I have a custom cover, and the change in height means a new cover.

Which Stillpoints were you thinking of using? I have an almost-custom cover. I would just have to add more Lego...

Reference a previous post where I mentioned that I thought I would need Ultra 5s under the Acutus for stability. So I was right. Still expensive though...

Hi Ivan,

Congratulations on this and the fact that, as you pointed pout, Stillpointing the whole wide array of equipments in your music loving nests must indeed be an epic task doesn't take anything away from the joy and the audible differences you are registering.

This is very important as all of your speakers/components are "speaking to us" and proving everyone that these products are insanely good, the principles behind them well documented and that these will enhance the system wherever in a chain you put them.

Yes and Yes

Yes, directly replacing the OEM feet using Ultras with the appropriate adapter allows you to level the component and, more importantly, creates a confused path, versus straight, for the vibration energy that more efficiently dissipates the energy. This assumes that you are leaving a gap between the Ultra product and component chassis. You don't want those surfaces to touch each other if possible. As always there are exceptions and some components make attaching impossible if not, at least, impractical.

Yes, placing a extra Ultra, or, strategically locating 1 Ultra product of 3 or 4 directly under a transport, transformer, or anything that internally generates a lot of vibration yields very good performance. Trying to do this with as little as 3 creates a difficult balancing act, though. Another performance booster is to ensure, as best as you can, that each Ultra is loaded evenly by the entire weight of the component.
