Huge loss. I just saw Donald Fagen this past Sat night at Austin City Limits.

R.I.P. Mr. Becker....you were a musical genius.

How is his solo show? I'm going to see him in a few weeks. I assume he will do some kind of tribute to his late friend.

I saw Fagen in Tennessee on Aug. 19th (if recall that correctly). It was great to see him live as I'm a fan of both Steely Dan and of his solo career. He did many Steely Dan songs as well as selections from each of his solo albums.
A spring chicken, he's not; so his voice isn't what it used to be. But he still brings it pretty good. The band was good. I enjoyed it and am glad I went. I had to travel about a hundred miles to the venue where he was playing. It was worth the hour and a half drive.

It was really good. For a 69 year old man, he sounded damn good. His band is really talented...especially Connor Kennedy, his lead guitarist.

Lots of good Steely Dan tracks...as well as solo stuff.

Cool, thanks guys. I have seen Steely Dan a few times, as recently as 2015, but I've never seen Fagen alone. I love his solo stuff, so I am looking forward to a nice mix.
