I did like them as well, I believe they will see an uptick in sales with this model and strategy.

I heard some Focal at the Rocky Mountain show too, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Interesting product. Looks like they moved the woofers to their lower end flax woofers and kept the beryllium tweeters. Focal claims they will have a "warm" sound in their marketing materials...that's not the first word that comes to mind when I think of recent Focal speakers I have listened to. Im not so sure this will sound better than the 1000 BE series.

I think Focal wants to nullify the constant belief that all of their speakers are bright sounding. This line supposedly provides that while also differentiating it from it's other lines. It replaces the Electra line which in my opinion, sounded very close to the new Sopra's. I'm not convinced that the initial price points for this new Kanta line are a good strategy since they are higher than the outgoing Electra's while containing somewhat lesser driver technology.
