Bryston 6B SST2
Does anyone have any experience with this amp? I'm looking for a 3 channel amp for my system and have been leaning strongly towards this one. I've been of course, very impressed by the Bryston monoblocks my dad has in the basement. Since I've heard Bryston with Sonus Faber I think it should be a really good match. I do know those monoblocks and Amati's sounded outstanding!

Hello;
I have the previous iteration, the 6B-SST C Series. If you have heard a 4B from the past couple of iterations i.e the 4B-SST, 4B-SST C Series or 4B-SST2 then that's basically what you get with the 6B-SST. It's best to think of the 6B like a 3 channel version of the 4Bs. The amp even though it puts out a fraction of the power of the 28B-SST2 is incredibly neutral, crisp and clear. I find the bass very fast and tight. The 3 channels in mine were spec'd at 330 watts each. Rod |

I shouldn't have used the word crisp, thinking about it, crisp would imply an emphasis on the high end which isn't the case. I feel the amp handles the entire frequency range equally well.
