Default Macintosh MC205 for my Herron Audio M150 Amp

All,

I am currently using my Herron M150 mono amps for my front left and right in my home theater setup. The center, and rear left and right are driven by my Marrantz 7055 amp.

I'm looking to move the M150's to a 2 channel system and would like to upgrade the Marantz 7055. My question is would the Mac MC205 be a better amp driving the front left and right than the Herron M150's?

Thanks

The MC205 is a very capable amp however if you buy the MC207 you can bi amp your front L/R speakers

They appear to have the same specs when you compare them on the Macintosh Web site.

Thanks

I guess I better become a subscriber so I can view.

Not sure if I can ask the question on this forum but how old is the amp?

Definitely become a subscriber. It's well worth it!

Less than 2 years.
