Default SonoS Cr200

Is anyone here using the newer CR200 remote for their SonoS system? I never used the CR100 because how slow it was using that click wheel for searching, it was easier to use the web-browser or iPhone. I sold it on A-gon last night.

I used the CR200 at a dealer for a few minutes and it seemed better than the iPhone/iPod Touch app. I want something my wife can use with the whole-house system.

I have the cr200 and my wife loves how easy it is to navigate and see the screen. I never had the cr100 since I’ve only had the sonos unit for few months.

I just received the CR200 I ordered the other day and it works much better than the CR100. It also appears to be a little better than using the iPone or iPod Touch, but more on that later.

Jim.......I may follow your lead. I have the CR100, and use it in the studio, but it is cumbersome and awkward. I use the iPod Touch application upstairs, or the computer. I saw your listing on Agon. It went fast. I may follow your lead. Keep us posted on the ease of use with the CR200.

Will do.

It went on A-gon in about an hour.

Just another note about the 200. It seems to operate much quicker than the iPod/Iphone app. I guess that is because the iPhone must first go thru your wireless network then work to the SonoS network, whereas the CR200 stays on the SonoS wireless network. It just feels better than either of the i's or the old CR100.

Yeah, I just need to put my CR100 up on Agon, and order up a CR200. It sounds like the way to go. Thanks Jim.

Thanks for the CR200 recommendation, Jim! I ordered one yesterday from Amazon and just received it this morning. It is indeed a big improvement over the CR100!

I also prefer it to using the Sonos controller ap on my iPhone as well.

I just placed my order for the Sonos CR200 controller this morning on Amazon. I'll have it Monday. The CR100 will go up on Agon. Thanks, Jim, for the motivation. I have been procrastinating for months.

My Sonos dealer told me he still sells the old remote because it is much more water resistant than the cr200 so clients with sonos in their bathrooms or wet areas prefer it.
