Blackhawk’s emergency backup goaltender steals the show. What a great story.

I suspect that this has been a fantasy of every kid who ever played hockey. What a great story. Thanks for sharing.

I was a goalie when I played as a kid. It certainly was a fantasy of mine! I replayed the last 14:10 of the game with my wife. It was awesome to watch. The commentators were just floored. The fans cheered loudly for every one of the 7 saves he made. Truly amazing to watch live!

Nice feel good story Pete, myself a net minder as well in my youth through college, Cornell took a look at me during my juniors and politely said, 'stick with your academics kid' ! My dream was to follow Ken Dryden @ Cornell, instead it was club hockey for Drexel.

Default NHL Chance of a lifetime

Ken Dryden was an idol of mine back in the day. I moved to Florida in my youth so my hockey aspirations were reduced to playing open hockey. Adult hockey stopped a few years back when I was getting injured more than having fun.
