Trust me any business would love to have Toga as a customer.

I've seen how he was treated when showing up at his dealer. They were quite delighted to see him.

And yes, when I send an inquiry to a company I expect a reply and I'm not even talking about $150k+ speakers.

Yes, I am sure he sent them an email, and also called this morning... Perhaps he has the wrong contact information...

rlacoste........This thread is not about building prestige for Magico. It is about an unusual issue one of our valued members is experiencing with his Magico Q7.

Condescension doesn't play well here either. I am not sure why you find it useful to attempt to beat down Toga. Nothing positive seems to be coming from you with respect to the original post. You have offered no insight, no helpful comments, just criticism and abrasive attitude. What exactly is your point? I am not getting it.

Hey, you're the one trying to make this thread into something that it's not.

I agree with Dan and others; perhaps it is time to stop digging.

No worries, I am done. Funny, I am actually the only one who looked and found a solution to Toga problem, but I guess this has nothing to do with Toga post...

Easy man, . I told you that I found it during weekend. I waited till Monday for business hour before I can contact my local dealer. And there is nothing wrong at all to let all the members see what happened. Absolutely no intention to discredit Magico.
But is is a fact that has aready been happened. This is the first time that I saw unusual thing happen to my speakers in this same listening room, and it happened to be from $$$$$$ one. Only the 16 years old Def Tech BP2000 have lost all dust caps so far.

The temp. variation and humidity variation in listening are not that great at all 24-32c, or 297-305 K. And no direct sunlight.

It could be my fault sending email to wrong address, highly possible because the man replied me once regarding how long it take to break in new Q3. His email was irv@....... But after that I sent some more emails to discuss about max temp limit, air pressure variation effects on sealed box, Q7 feet and never get any more reply. Later AA member told me that Irv moved to Constellation already.

For the issue of my Q7, I will follow up the case from local dealer. And I agree to almost everybody that, there are differences between being a fine hand made and home made product. With this price I expect it to be a precious high quality hand made piece of audio equipment that will be trouble free serving me for years to come. But even the brand new 991 911 GT3 or Ferrari 458 have had engine fire problems reported, so I will be relaxed with Q7 sealant issue.

toga
P.s. I will renew in the future, I forgot every info about my Paypal. And have been rejected by a few company before, they suspect my Paypal to be hacked. Bachrock has explained my Paypal issue in Mcintosh forum. ( have been rejected by Tubedepot)

Good night/day eneryone

HI Toga,
I hope you have had better luck contacting Magico today. Irv Gross was a great contact - helpful, informed and a gentleman as well. Magico's loss is definitely Constellation's gain! PLease keep us all updated as you work through this. I can't imagine that Magico will anything less than committed to your complete satisfaction! Ted.

Toga - You've got the coolest head in the place and it's your speaker. I admire your patience and calm attitude. Thanks for posting.

My dealer wrote to Magico already I heard.
I am cool because I know this will not affect sound.
Have seen fluid leaks or break down new and expensive cars before, or even a fire on new Boeing 787, so this is understandable.
Or Magico is pushing me to get a new Project M ! haha, mann I love the new speakers, very interesting tweeters.
I will report the updates, the time you wait to hear it = the response time of Magico, let'see how quick they will get to this issue.
Toga
