Thanks for the note. Don't they break in their drivers before they ship them? At least I thought they did. I was listening on Friday night and some very familiar recordings sounded a little closed-in and compressed. I wondered about driver break-in. They opened up a bit when the volume was goosed to a higher level, but it was a little higher volume than I wanted to listen. Sent a note to Gerrit and Sean, so I'm curious if they'll say something about driver break-in too.

I found they had an initial break in after 2 weeks and then another one after 3-4 months. When I first got them, they were compressed as you say. Eventually they open up. I accelerated it by playing the system fairly loud when leaving the house with no one home. Not a bad theft deterrent I suppose.....
