Default Georgia Home Theater Theater

I got this email from the guys at GHT. Thought it mihgt be some eye candy for some, and it might be some ideas for others.

This beautiful home has technology from Georgia Home Theater from top to bottom. The home has fully automated lighting control, temperature, security, and A/V distribution from Crestron.

Audio and Video is included in many rooms of the house. One of the highlights for the home owner is the A/V in the beautiful bar/billiard room. But, the crown jewel of the home is the dedicated Home Cinema.

The Home Cinema Room has plush seating for up to 8 guests from Acoustic Innovations offering the perfect viewing experience. The viewing screen is a 142" Masking/Motorized Stewart Cinecurve Screen driven by a 3-Chip DLP 1080p projector by Sim2. This Home Cinema room is the highlight for every sporting and movie event.

The audio system in the Home Cinema includes architecturally hidden speakers from Bowers & Wilkins powered by 500 Watt Monoblock amps from Rotel. The main media source is a Kaleidescape Movie and Music server which allows instant access to hundreds of movies and thousands of music albums.

Nice trim and woodwork. Would never work for me because of the 2 channel listening and the necessity to have speakers out into the room as well as having the gear visible and accessible.

Serge ,

You should consider having a 2 channel room and a separte home theater in your new house. It comes in handy when someone wants to watch a movie and you want to do 2 channel listening. As I type this, my son and 2 of his friends are watching a movie in the home theater as I am in the 2 channel room. Basements come in handy for this
