I've told them to hang on that I really want to talk to them. Then I put the phone by the tv or speakers and leave it there and see how long they will wait. Too much fun.

A few more things to consider, change the phone number. Get an unlisted number. Get the number logged into the do not call list. Do not give the number to any businesses.
