Qobuz vs. Tidal?
Looking for feedback from those that have used Tidal and Qobuz. My taste in music is admittedly narrow - I listen mainly to classic rock and roll. Which of the two has a better selection for this genre of music? The tiebreaker is sound quality. From what I have seen, some prefer Tidal, some Qobuz.

James, why does an original studio recording using 16/44.1 gear and processing sound different than a 24/192 version?

Its a good question and one that has many answers depending on whom you ask. In my opinion the master is far more important in providing a quality recording at 44.1/16Bit than the sample rate or bit rate being used - but that's just my opinion - many will disagree. james |
