New Pictures I snapped in the Gaylord Rockies Center (RMAF 2019 location)
My family and I just got back from our family ski vacation in Vail, Colorado! Anyway, we had about an hour before we needed to be at DIA so we stopped by the Gaylord Rockies center to check out the new RMAF venue this upcoming September. I'll tell ya, if you were on the fence about going, this may change your mind, the resort is incredible! It looks completed to me, all the restaurants and bars look open and the lobby area is spectacular! We saw a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, a Japanese restaurant among others and plenty of bars and places to get a quick bite to eat. The outdoor area was awesome (although covered by snow) with a heated pool (indoor and outdoor), kids waterslides and a lazy river. Here's some photos I snapped:
This overlooks the "lobby" area when you walk in the main entrance: View from the stairs overlooking the water feature in the main lobby with a quick bite restaurant in the background: To the left you have the Italian restaurant in the background with a vintage caboose:

This is the view back up the stairs toward the main entrance:
My wife and one of the kiddos in the background near the waterfall and rock features: View of the Italian restaurant behind the caboose: Check this out! This is their "sports bar" restaurant with a full wall of flat panels for sports.....reminds me of a sports book in Vegas. It's a huge place.

Here's the indoor pool area with hot tubs, splash areas and kids waterslides:
It was hard to get outdoor pics since they just got about 6 inches of snow, so this is all I got, but they have fire pits, outdoor heated pool, a lazy river, outdoor bar areas, tons of seating etc: I didn't get any pics of the spa, but I assume it's incredible, so if any significant others want to make the trip, it looks like there is more than enough relaxation for them. I was very impressed, that weekend will be a lot of fun for everyone in a place this nice! - Buck

Excellent Buck, we certainly won’t lack for options for a group dinner. Should be fun.

Impressive, and I think this will be a better location.
Interesting from the point people are swimming inside and there is snow outside. I will keep it under consideration as I already have done this and really want to check out Munich. |

Impressive place; it's no wonder the room prices are way higher than the Tech Center! Should be a fantastic venue in early September. Thanks for the pics.
