That Soundgarden is pretty amazing if you are in a real rock mood... wow... can't wait until the DSD DAC arrives to really check it out.

My wife and I have been evaluating a bit of gear, speaker cables, and power cables lately and have found the below music really lets us get a feel for what we like. We think they do a nice job of showcasing the music our system produces in just a few songs.

Carey Underwood - Something In the Water (it takes some good gear to do her voice right when she goes high in the chorus)
Dessa - 551 (Castor -The Twin album)
Mario Biondi - This is What You Are

My got-to for newcomers visiting my household is always Robert Palmer's "Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley" - start to finish.
