If the difference between standard CAT7 and the AQ stuff is as great as the difference I hear between CAT5E and standard CAT7 then I'm all over it.

Jim, as I told Crion, the GISO is a must have. Make sure you get the 1000MB one and not the 100. That way you are future proof...

Also, did you get you audio stuff unplugged from the APC?

I removed the pre-amp and the 808 from the APC and listened for a day. No difference in sound. I plugged them back into the S15 for peace of mind.

A shunyata hydra triton might be a better fit for the preamp and 808 than an APC unit. It does have surge protection as well so the peace-of-mind is still intact.

I find the Shunyata noise suppression products working in real harmony with Meridian products. There are some good deals out there on Hydra Triton since the v2 is coming around the corner.

As for priority, 808.3->808.6 is most important as you will get a brand new linear PSU in the process as well as new clocks and DAC's. But after that I would go a Shunyata Hydra Triton to replace the APC S15.

Back on topic:
Yes Kingsrule an AQ Diamond will break the sonic wall again. 2x SQ from your cat7 vanilla? - yep. Hell to break in, it's solid silver cable. An AQ Vodka takes you a long way from cat7 vanilla and the practical choice from a spenditure standpoint on lengths 1.5m+ (~5feet).

I just looked at Control:Mac and in the messages it notes that 2.435 is available. I just started the update.

Done. This one only took about 3 minutes. Waiting for the next release later this month that should add Tidal integration.

Some folks are reporting dropouts in music after the update over on HH forum. I'm waiting for a little while...

Indeed, I'm holding off on this one until 15mins dropout reported is cleared, it's not the Tidal update anyways just small maintenance fixes.
