My MC 601's had those binding posts. They came with a nice purpose built plastic wrench for tightening them. Very nice design.

Not to TC..but..... -- You guys are lucky -- when I was changing from 4 ohm from the Raidhos to 8 ohm for the Alexia's, I had one terminal that I worked 2 hours on & off to get it tight. I could have probably addressed it quicker if the amp was out of the rack -- but that'd have taken time to dismantle the shelves above & open the possibility of dropping something, etc -- so, I trudged along. I eventually got it somewhat tight -- safe enough to fire up the rig and listen to the speakers for the first time and readdressed the next day. Got it tight after 5 minutes.

P.S. The Alexia's have those & a nice wrench too. (doesn't say McIntosh naturally)

Any word on a replacement for the MEN220 ? I am trying to replace my EV DX38 but the 220 does not have enough settings

To all us Mac fanatics -- and others -- McIntosh plans to make new product announcements -- one per month -- from September to December of this year.

The September announcement will be the delivery date of the MT2 turntable.

I'm curious as to whether anyone knows why the MA7200 integrated amp is reportedly an export only model while the MAC7200 is available domestically.
