I know a two-handed crawfish peeler, one on the way while the other's being peeled!

Not a fan, but fun to watch people shuffle of 0.5 oz of tail meat.

Reminds me of when I was at a 2 week Boy Scout summer camp. Most everything seemed too "pansified," and I let everyone know.

Adult leaders gave me the option of taking my tent & setting it up elsewhere along the lake - they'd check in on me, or I could straggle back if needed.

PRETTY sure they were surprised when I took them up on the deal, grabbed my tent & backpack, and walked my happy ass around the bay (they wouldn't go so far as letting me have a canoe.)

Oddly? I did just GREAT! Stuffed my face on fish I caught, but the ONE thing that I LOVED (and, other kids who came to see what the HELL I was up to discovered) was there were TONS of crawfish/crayfish/crawdads/mudbugs to catch. I'd just catch a mess of them and steam them in my mess kit. Didn't have any butter, or even salt or pepper, but they were GREAT! Much better than the crap the other Scouts were trying to cook over their fires.

This would have been on Lake Archibald, in Wisconsin... thinking 1984'ish...

Glenn.......A quick way to get a photo out of your phone is to send yourself an email with the photo attached. Then open the email on your home computer, save the photo then attach it here.
