I'll just throw in my $.02 worth and vote for the 501's. I like them so much I have three!

Update: I'm now in negotiations with a respected member of the group for 501's. I think we are very, very close to a deal. Thanks everyone, I'll keep you posted.

I think you will be very happy with the 501's. I have a pair of 601's and Legacy Focus S/E's. Don't under estimated how much these speakers can open up with a good amount of power.

I am really glad I did not settle for anything less.

My "new" pair of 501's will be arriving on Tuesday!!!!! A big thank you to a great AA member who may or may not have an infamous picture of his, ehhhhh, cough, cough Levis contained within this very thread. On a side note, this member sent me a video of the 501's in operation to assure our secure transaction, went way out of his way with his limited time to get this deal done to help me with ownership of these when he didn't even have to and I appreciate that very, very much....except that in the video he sent the 501's were sitting on top of his 2301's. LOL The 501's looked like little toys on top of those bad boys I want 2301's more than ever now. LOL Expect more questions from me in in new thread soon regarding more help/advice needed to get my system up and running. Thanks guys!

Dang -- you guys did hook up??? Wow. Cool Beans.

Probably sent the video because his pictures suck? (A reference he made in another thread).

Best Sir & enjoy those puppies.

He MAY or may not have admitted that his video skills were as poor as his photo skills. Definitely some GREAT people here at AA.

501's are here!! In my suv...in my garage...not going to pick them up by myself and wrestle them inside quite yet even though I could, A fellow martial arts friend that I train with (and power lifter) is stopping by tomorrow after work to have a cold one and chat about some work I need completed in my basement....so they'll come in tomorrow. Might as well take advantage of an extra set of hands. No rush, plus I still need to figure out racking. I'm hesitant to set these on top of a Bello AVS 2601 63" wide tempered glass stand because I don't know the manufactures weight limit on the top shelf, I only know the bottom 2 are rated at 75lbs each!

Congrats. Sounds like someone needs a new rack ... I too would be hesitant given the weight. My advice is to ditch the glass shelving. Worst shelving for hi end gear IMO.
