Tonepub.......Jeff, I thoroughly enjoyed issue 21, and in particular the reviews of the Burmester 061, and the MCD500. It was interesting to discover the Burmester had digital inputs, and playback made use of 192Khz, just like the MCD500 does at half the 061 price tag.

One other compliment, the quality of the photography in Tone is excellent. I appreciate the clear, and uncluttered photos of the gear. That is exactly what a perspective buyer is wanting to see.

Another great issue. Thank you

Dan

Thanks for the compliments, always appreciated....

I must add though that the Burmester does have improved redbook performance over the MCD, but the fact that the Mac has excellent SACD playback and variable outputs does make it a pretty darn good value!

Now if Burmester will just send me that $65,000 CD player!

As always...it's very nice, and I look forward to your review of the 60th Anniversary MC75 "set".

Tone Issue 23 is out, and I enjoyed a number of the articles, including the piece on Rega.
