Audio Research with Sonus Faber was a good sounding combo. I was surprised these speakers could achieve those levels on 150 watts.

I’m not big into vinyl, but man does Clearaudio understand industrial design. Every inch of that thing screams precision engineering.

Yes, the aidas go really really low, and the ref160m can definitely get the job done. Stunning! I think this system would have been better in a room the size of the one von schweikert was in.

Yes, I thought the tweeters were a bit hot in that room and hurt my ears a bit, but I wondered if the Aidas were voiced for a greater listening distance than that room allowed.
