Is that part of the Aurender app that does that or are you able to do that using some other method?

Thanks!
stark.......If you wish to use the Aurender music server as a streamer of Internet music from Tidal, the N100H or the N100C are both able to do this, have attractive price points, plus both are also very high quality music servers. The N100H is USB output only, while the N100C is both USB and coaxial output. I own the Aurender N10 music server and the N100H. Both are excellent source components.

The iPad you saw in the photo is necessary to run the Aurender Conductor App. The Conductor App, a free download from the Apple App store, is what allows wireless control of the music servers, access to all music files stored on their internal hard drives or connected NAS, and access to Tidal streaming service and Internet radio. The Conductor App also controls all the other functions through the Settings menu. There is also an Android App that is available through the Google Play Store that will control the Aurender music servers on a cellphone but that app doesn't offer streaming. You will need to have an iPad for best results controlling the Aurender components.

Thank you Dan for the informative reply, the build quality and price points look great as does the iPad connectivity! I will take a look at the N100H or N100C more closely.

My new silver N100H 4TB arrived yesterday and to say I'm impressed is a huge understatement. My dealer preloaded some music for me so in less than 10 minutes from unboxing, I had music playing. The UI is intuitive, fast and easy. The SQ along with my new DAC, Bryston BDA-3, and Curious USB cable exceeded my expectations. Great soundstage, wide, deep and layered. Excellent image definition and black space between images makes for a deep soundstage. I'm not new to servers, I've had my Bryston BDP-2 for about 5 years in my main system. I highly recommend the N100H server/streamer. It's well made, sounds great, and very easy to use.

smatsui324.......Congratulations on your new Aurender N100H. Your comments parallel my impressions exactly. Like you, I went with the 4TB model. You can never have enough storage, even if you think you don't need it. Terabytes have a way of being consumed. Hope you have many happy hours enjoying your new music server. Aurender components are fabulous.

Over the weekend, I loaded about 2 TB of music files into the N100H. I have a lot of DSD files that were ripped by friends from SACDs. Some of these files did not have the artist tag information so they show up in the iPad app as artist unknown. What is the easiest way to add the artist information so that the files show up correctly under the artist name in the app? Thanks.

AFAIK, the only way is on your personal computer. There are a bunch of different tagging programs. Correct it there, then delete album off N100, and re-load with the fixed tags and artwork. It would be very convenient to do this via the conductor app but sadly it can’t be done ...

I use DBPoweramp to rip CDs. Do you know if it can be used for tagging? Do you have a recommendation for a tagging program that is easy to use? Thanks for responding!

A friend recommended Music Brainz Picard for tagging. I'll look at that one tonight.

Default New Aurender N100H arrived today

[emoji1303]

I have a Mac and use XLD to rip and Tag to, you guessed it, tag my PCM files. I have never tagged DSD files but imagine they work with tagging programs too.
