The beta test consisted of custom made cable with identical construction and materials. The only difference between cables was the characteristic impedance. These test cables were not production SR cables. The purpose of these specific tests was very narrow in scope to determine the effects of impedance while eliminating any other variables.

There were many other tests that focused on other technical cable parameters that we do not intend to publish.

You do know that Ivan is a dealer -right? Call or write to the SR factory. They will help you.

For $25 you can become an AA subscriber and probably save that $25 plus much more on your first purchase thru AA channels.

Just sayin'

Best Sir,

Bob

The Esoteric-Mexcel 8N-A2000 50-ohm cable (assuming you find one globally that is authentic) is a great 50-ohm clocking cable. In my system, 2 of them performed extremely well and I was very happy for them. With my current equipment and with material I enjoy listening to, I am finding the Shunyata SIGMA Clock50s to be superior in certain areas that appeal to me; I've noted them already on the thread.

There are many problems that I can solve.
Getting you a referral to a dealer that will fill your order is one I can solve.

Getting an unknown dealer to call you back when I don’t know who they are - not so much.

Good luck getting the world to confirm to your idea of “how it should work”. I find that incredibly annoying also.

Enjoy the Mexcel. It is a great cable.

IMHO,...you may wish to consider taking the help offered here from Caelin and getting in touch with a dealer that will respond to you and help you. There are many great resources here for subscribers...

Staying with the Mexcel if you have a 50-ohm link is IMHO not the best choice.

The thing is, I am in Australia. So we must work through the local distribution channel otherwise people at this end get upset and I get accused of buying grey import.
