O_o scar.......Thank you for your kind comments. I have relocated my W4S Recovery to my headphone rig in my office because I am no longer using a USB connection between my music server and DAC. My new Aurender N10 is connected to my DAC with a (soon to arrive) Wireworld Platinum Starlight 7 coaxial cable. This freed up the Recovery and the iFi power supply, so I now have them deployed between my desktop computer and the Wyred 4 Sound DAC2 that feeds my Sennheiser HDVA headphone amplifier and HD800 headphone. The Recovery is a remarkable USB reclocker that definitely adds to my musical enjoyment.

I added a W4S Recovery to my system last night and am giving it some burn in time as recommended.

I am trusting in your review, Dan.

Mark.......Thank you. I read your comments on the Recovery in another thread and it sounds like you are enjoying the performance bump.

So Michael, now that you have had it for a bit, what do you think of the recovery?

I bought one on black Friday. On my laptop rig, it was a huge difference. After I changed out the stock power supply on the recovery to an IFI, it brought it up to another level. It is a wonderful piece.

Randy The Recovery definitely provides an improvement in detail and decay. I think most of the detail improvement is in the mid-high to high range and the decay seems to cross all but the super low frequencies.

I'm very much enjoying the Recovery and I'd rate it a Top Ten best bang for the buck mod to almost any system.

Dan, based on your review, I purchased and installed the Recovery in my system. I now have almost 10 minutes playing time on it and I think it will stay in the loop! Thanks for the review and recommendation!
