Well, I think what Ken described was what is in my mind. My English was not

But I did feel Ref40 to be more refined, relaxed and ease while Ref 6 was
Like AMG version of S-Class Merc.
In 3 years from now ARC will be 50. So canwe expect the Anniversary to be a preamp again ? I can wait, livng with Ref40 till REF50 come.
Yes REF6 has sharper attack and edgier than REF40, so I think what Ken described was right. A relative comparison.
Nevertheless I like this kind of ref6 sound.
