If you can live with the scratches on the side and remote, I think the $6000 is a fair deal if it has 1400 original hours. You can also buy a box from Audio Research. The tube that will need to be changed first is the 6550WE at about 2000 hours. The 6H30s are good for about 4000 hours. Good luck.
